York PA and Student Support Limited is an established provider of academic support for students who are living and studying in York.

Support provided includes:
• Specialist Study Skills Tuition - for students with Specific Learning Differences
• Mentors - to motivate, encourage and guide students and support them with planning, organisation, time management and assignment structuring
• Notetakers - to take accurate notes for students, in a format of their choice
• Library Support Assistants - to assist the student to collect, return, carry and retrieve books, undertake research and use equipment and facilities
• Work placement support - for students undertaking work experience placements as part of their studies
• Specialist mobility and orientation training for students with visual impairments
• All aspects of personal care

All our academic Personal Assistants are educated to degree level, have enhanced CRB (DBS) certificates and receive regular supervision and training.
