At The SLC Group we use a variety of assistive technology devices to assist the people we support with communication, mobility and security. Our aim is to enhance our support so individuals can gain skills and achieve higher levels of independence.

Examples of Assistive Technology currently being used by SLC include: Epilepsy Sensors, Care phones, Epilepsy mats, Panic buttons and Electronic communication boards. We link in with Local Authority Assistive Technology Teams to assess individuals who may benefit from assistive technology and to find ways in which it can improve the quality of a service.
