Our Wellbeing Centres
Leading Lives run building based community Hubs, where older people have a dedicated space where they can come for a chat, meet friends, share memories and keep active and engaged. Well trained and compassionate teams facilitate and support activities which are designed to stimulate thoughts, memories and retain individuals identity and wellbeing.
Some examples of the kind of activities we run are:
- Boccia,
- Home cooking,
- Newspaper reviews,
- Reminiscence/Memory games ,
- Art & Crafts ,
- Music sessions,
- Chair based exercises,
- Bingo,
- Card and Board games
We support people to remain connected to their friends, family and community offering activities and Opportunities both in house and through the local community.
We provide specialist support for people with Dementia and their family carers, working in partnership with Age UK, Alzheimers Society and Suffolk Family Carers.
Our Hubs are a place where people can feel safe, make and meet friends and experience new things.

What Felixstowe has to offer?
Felixstowe Wellbeing Service is close to the seafront and only a few minutes walk from the town centre.
We are close to local shops, pubs and cafes which have a friendly, community feel. We have good connections with Felixstowe Area Community Transport and local taxi providers. We have a bright, friendly building which has a large, sunny back garden, ideal for growing our fruit and vegetables that are then used in our cookery groups. We provide activities daily, ranging from reminiscence and memory sessions to working with Elatus sports for indoor golf and other sports.
We have a smaller room where people enjoy quieter activities, hobbies or chatting. We make the most of being in the seaside town with lots of activities in the community, the beach, leisure centre and theatre.
We can provide a two course meal for a reasonable charge.
