Westwood Care organise a regular programme of group outings, including day trips, evenings out, weekends away and short holidays. Previous outings have included:
• Calvert Trust (Lake District)
• Theatre and Cinema
• Blackpool
• Shopping centres
• Pop Concerts
• City Breaks
• Visitor Attractions
• Restaurants
• Pubs

The benefits achieved by joining a group activity include:
• Shared costs of Personal Assistant, transport and accommodation
• Carers break
• Opportunities to try new things and meet new people with similar interests
• Alternative to traditional respite services
If required, Westwood can provide Personal Assistants, or bring your own.

The monthly programme is constantly being updated in accordance with requests.

Please note the cost of £50.00 per day is for 1 to 2 support and does not include other factors such as:
• Additional Support
• Transport
• Cost of activity
These will all be discussed and agreed when we establish your requirements.
