HomeCareDirect offer a third party service and employ your chosen personal assistants on your behalf. You’ll still have all the same choice and control yet you won’t have to take on the responsibility (and sometimes the hassles!) of being an employer.
We will recruit, train and support your chosen personal assistants to meet your specific health and social care needs.
Our own dedicated training team will coordinate with you the delivery of training throughout your support, meaning that if or as your health and care needs change we can train your personal assistants to ensure they are meeting your needs at all times.
Our Kirklees local Independent Living Nurse will work with you and your personal assistants in maintaining high levels of personal training and care. You will be fully involved in the training of your care team so they know exactly how you wish to be supported.
Cost details
Please note the price shown is a typical cost for this service and is dependent on your individual needs and requirements. Once these have been discussed we can confirm a price.
Up to the point of you agreeing to HomeCareDirect helping you to manage your support package our services are free of charge, with no obligation. We want you to be sure that you want to use us!
We do then charge a nominal set up fee for putting your package together – which can be spread over 12 months.
HomeCareDirect services cost £3.00 per hour of support provided, £17.28 a day for live-in care and £13.86 a night for sleep-in support.
These charges include:
• HomeCareDirect being the legal employer of your personal assistants on your behalf
• Employers liability insurance
• Full payroll service
• Insurance scheme to pay personal assistant’s sick, maternity or paternity pay (protecting your budget against such unforeseen costs)
• Full personal assistant recruitment service and support to identify training for them
• A 24/7 telephone support for you and your personal assistant’s
• Two personal assistant supervisions per year including and annual review
• Care Delivery to Care Quality Commission (CQC) national standards
• Remote monitoring of service, helping to ensure your safety at all times
So depending on the service you want the cost of your package may range from £13.50 - £18.00 per hour. Remember though that each package of support is individual so please contact us for a more accurate picture of how this will be costed.
