About Us
Craegmoor is the leading independent support provider for individuals with enablement needs. We services to adults and young people over 16 years. Specialists in Autism specific Services, Complex Needs and Positive Behavioural Approaches. The main service user needs we support are mental health, learning disabilities and autism.

The Birches, Chesterfield
The Birches is a residential placement in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, for males & females requiring specialist support for their mental health needs (including personality disorders). The service will accommodate a maximum of seven clients aged 18 and above. The service will be highly staffed with all staff members partaking in regular training, to ensure the quality of the service being provided is at its best.

Each client will have their own Key Worker and an Associate Worker and the client will have involvement in choosing the most suitable members of staff for them. All clients will be involved in weekly meetings within the house and also be offered individual support sessions to discuss any issues or areas of development they wish to focus on. We aim to help the client’s progress through this rehabilitation process with the view to moving on to their own supported accommodation.

We would be willing to assist in the continuity of support if required by doing outreach work. The process will be different for each individual and it will be important to take each individual’s needs into account. It is hoped that the progression through our service will take around 24 months. However, the service would never look to move people without the appropriate supporting being in place. The process will go at the individual’s pace and they will never be rushed into anything before they are ready.

Cost
The cost of £1249.47 is a weekly base fee. For additional 1-1 support, there is a cost of £15.00 per hour and £16.80 per hour for outreach support.
