We are a 23 bedded home (2 of which are for sheltered accommodation flats in the grounds of our 3.5 acre site) able to meet the needs and wishes of many individual people with different needs and abilities supported by the local GP, Hospice and Community Nurses in providing long term care - supporting our residents to live at Nyton, their home for as long as they wish, even until the end avoiding the distress of having to move to a different care setting.
Nyton House is located in the village of Westergate and on the outskirts of Aldingbourne, near Chichester.

The home offers regular excursions to areas of interest as well as additional trips which can be arranged on request.

We have an activities organiser who plans both group and individual activity opportunities ranging from: hand massage and nail care, letter writing, flower arranging, bird feeder making, card making, cake decorating, apple juice making with our own grown apples in the autumn, bingo, poetry reading, reminiscing, word and board games, trips out to concerts and to the theatre to taking those who wish out to local coffee mornings held in the local community, to name but a few of what we have offered in the past year.

Our regular concerts throughout the year provide our clients the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of music, especially in the summer when we make the most of our extensive grounds for our grand summer concert by the lake here at Nyton.

For those residents who enjoy gardening there are small plots we can make available for them to use. We also offer reminiscing, music and arts to enjoy in the home. We have a selection of books and magazines in our library as well as the visiting monthly mobile library service which can allow you to choose and request books, for normal print, large print, braille and talking books, a conservatory (which is also used for dining purposes) as well as the main lounge where we do have a TV. In addition to this we have an art studio in the grounds.
