Description

Cooking has been used as a form for therapy for years, it’s known in the psychology world as behavioural activation. Cooking relaxes you and teaches you to have more patience. During cooking your mind engages and focused on something concrete for a few hours. This will help you to stop having negative thoughts.

The workshop consists of 90 minutes cooking.
Come and join our workshop, enjoy learning new healthy ways of cooking. Moroccan, Egyptian, Arabic, Asian food.

Cooking materials will be provided.

Some examples for your taste buds:
- Tagine : Steamed chicken, lamb etc cooked in a special earth pot
- Bastilla: traditional Moroccan dish made of chicken or fish.
- Biryani: traditional Asian rice dish
- Baklava: traditional middle eastern sweet
- Kounafah: traditional middle eastern sweet
- Fatoush: Middle eastern fresh salad served with fried bread.

Participants must be 18 years or over and no refund is available for non attendance at a booked session.
