Hub Care Support is a family run business that specializes in promoting individuals to have choice, control and consistency in their support with added flexibility and independence. We offer a free introduction service to people that are seeking support. A no obligation service. You can always change your mind and that’s no problem to us!

 

What checks are done? Who are QCAS?

Every independent Personal Assistant (PA) that is held on our register must have completed and refreshed when due with QCAS (Quality Care Approval Scheme) https://qcas.org.uk/. 

This means they hold a conviction free Enhanced DBS on the Live update system.  ID verification. High standards of training for 20 modules. Right to work. Code of Conduct. 2 written references that are manually verified. Finally, are Insured.

We meet with each PA multiple times to ensure they are kind, caring and compassionate but also professional.

 

What’s the process? How much does a PA charge?

Right from the start you tell us your wants/needs. Times, days, type of support and general information.

We post on our system the support required, maintaining confidentiality. 

PA’s show their interest and we send you the profiles of each PA.

You can meet free of charge for 30 minutes with each PA you wish. 

You decide who suits you or your loved one best.

Then it’s a match! Your chosen PA will carry out the support from then on! 

Once the support has started, the PA will typically invoice through e-mail or post charging between £20-£25 Ph. Typically 30% cheaper than agencies.

Who do I pay?

All payments should be made via debit or credit card transactions via a direct link visible on the invoice. This will go to a payment handlers, PayMyPA who ensure safety, security and protection with every transaction!

Rather than have any face come through the door at any time, have a PA that YOU have chosen, come at that time, every time!

Rather than call an office and wait days for a message to be passed around, assessments to be done, complications through the process. Instead have a PA with direct communication. This means you don’t need to wait 2 weeks to make a change to your support. 1 call and you can change or discuss any concerns.

Rather than feel you have no connection built with different faces each time and explain the support and your preferences each time. Have your chosen PA that will know how you like things done, and have the foundations built from trust and consistency.

We do not manage a PA’s workload, we do not schedule, hassle and dictate where a PA needs to go at any time. All PA’s are fully independent and will only come forward if they are happy to provide the support giving a much better foundation of trust and willingness to provide the best support they can!
