At Caremark, we know that all our customers are individuals with their own specific needs and preferences. We understand that when you require support with your personal care and daily living it can be difficult for you and you might worry about losing your independence. We respect your dignity at all times and will only provide services which you have specifically asked for in your Individual Care and Support Agreement, meaning we can help you retain as much independence as possible.

Our range of PERSONAL CARE and SUPPORT services is extremely broad and is not restricted to the examples provided here.

Some of our Customers have asked us for support with the following daily activities:
• Bathing and showering
• Support with getting up and going to bed
• Assistance using the bathroom and toilet
• Getting dressed and undressed
• Supporting other members of the household with their personal care
• Hair care, shaving, cleaning teeth
• Foot care
• Making appointments with healthcare professionals
• Assistance with managing medication
• Support with eating and drinking

Many of our Customers have told us they don’t want help with their personal care but are just looking for a little support with some of the things they need during the course of their day. This may be something as straightforward as assistance with organising appointments and visiting the doctor or hospital. Perhaps there are areas of your daily routine where some extra support would allow you to have more time for enjoying leisure activities and socialising. Having an extra pair of hands which are flexible to suit your arrangements may make a real difference to you.

This may include support with achieving specific nutritional goals you may have, for example involvement with planning your weekly meal menu. We can accompany you to do your shopping and assist you to prepare your meals just how you like them.

We do know there are many other things we could help with, so don’t be afraid to ask. We are available 365 days of the year and up to 24 hours a day (starting from as little as a 30 minute visit).
