Caridon Landlord Solutions is a dedicated service provider specialising in Universal Credit and Housing Benefit advice for private landlords, letting agencies and housing associations.

We offer a range of competitively priced services throughout the tenancy process, providing invaluable support and access to expert guidance to those affected by the new legislation's and changes in the Private rented market.

We understand that landlords are sometimes reluctant to house those particularly reliant on Welfare System which can sometimes put a strain on Local Authorities.

We aim to support both the tenant and landlord in maintaining a good relationship for the tenant to sustain the tenancy.

In October 2013, the Government introduced Universal Credit (UC), implementation of this new benefit has had an impact on those reliant on benefit. Given the effect Caridon Landlord Solutions (CLS) was set up as a dedicated service provider specialising in the newly formed Universal Credit and existing Housing Benefit to offer advice, education and solutions for private landlords, letting agencies, housing associations and Local Authorities.

CLS’s goal is not only to educate landlords on the changes, but to support them and their tenants in managing their tenancies around this new benefit. We believe by providing landlords with this service will prevent them from leaving this sector at a time when our country needs more housing than ever before.

We also understand that tenants have been affected by the service and have come into arrears and have been at risk of losing their home. With this we have decided to set up small Welfare Advice Surgeries within the community such as Doctors Surgeries providing all types of advice and assistance to safeguard the tenancies, fortnightly over the Borough of Croydon.
