Description

The Set Up Package is suitable if you are new to direct payments and to give you peace of mind that you have everything in place to make the most of your direct payment. Set Up support can be by home or office visit, telephone, email or post whichever is most appropriate.

The Set Up Package has been split into three levels based on the number of support hours likely to be needed.

This is the Medium Level Package which is suitable if you are going to employ someone and you have a personal assistant (PA) in mind.

The Set Up Package will end when the direct payment package is up and running i.e. your PA is recruited and all the paperwork is in place.  There is no fixed time frame for the Set Up Package but it is typically about three months.  

This package provided by Penderels Trust is for up to 10 hours of support which our experience tells us is enough to set up a direct payment package employing a PA you already have in mind. If additional hours of support are needed if the Set Up is longer or more complex than anticipated, additional hours can be purchased.
