Here at Acorn Bookkeeping we have been working with local autorities for over 10 years to help our clients employ carers and personal assistants in their own homes using Direct payments, Personal Health Budgets and Self Funding budgets.

Payroll Services:

· Initial visit to your home at a convenient time to suit both parties (evenings can be arranged)

· Registering you as an employer with HMRC to obtain PAYE and Accounts office references and dealings with HMRC thereafter including quarterly returns of payments and zero submissions 

· Supplying to you as part of the payroll service payslips and timesheets prepared for the next 4-week period ending date with 1st class prepaid envelope supplied for return

· All necessary reports will be kept in client file. (Copies of these reports can be supplied to client upon request at no extra cost)

· Spreadsheet of the account activity provided at your request

· Updates provided to LA for monitoring purposes at their request

· All Holiday, Statutory Sick Pay & Statutory Maternity Pay will be recorded and advice given

· Processing of starters and leavers forms on your behalf as part of the payroll service 

· Advice given to you and your personal assistants alike re PAYE affairs and the New Law on Pensions

· Real Time submissions registered for HMRC and prepared for start in April 2013. Sage Payroll used for up to date legislation and upgrades

· Supplying to you as part of the payroll service employee contracts, provided for all personal assistants - permanent or casual

· Employer and Employee packs with insurance company details, and all contact details for ourselves, HMRC, Council contact numbers and any other useful numbers and websites

· Accident book and First Aid Kit - £23.95 charge

· Insurances arranged for you and pa's
