Many are missing out on their benefit entitlements because they don’t know who to approach for advice. SmartBenefits offer FREE initial telephone advice, followed by a home visiting service to help you complete those long and often complicated forms.

We begin by carrying out an initial assessment, to clarify any benefits that you may be entitled to claim. You then have the option of completing the process yourself or enlisting our professional expertise to help you through the process on a NO AWARD, NO CHARGE basis. This means that until you are awarded benefits, we will only ask you for a contribution towards our travelling costs to visit you at home.

As we only receive payment on award of benefit, it is in our best interests to offer a transparent service. We will only take on cases that have a clear entitlement, therefore not building up hopes unnecessarily.

Charging Structure

• Initial telephone advice is FREE
• Home visit to complete forms, cost of 35p per mile
• Completion of Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance forms, charge of equivalent of 2 weeks award (payment only due on award of benefit)
• Follow on visits to complete Pension Credit, Income Support, Housing Benefit etc where requested, charged at £10 per hour
