The team at Amberley Lodge in Purley, Surrey, provides the very best in personalised nursing care, dementia care, respite care and end of life care. In December 2018 the home was rated 'outstanding' by the CQC.

The CQC's report mentions the 'exceptionally kind and caring' staff who have a 'real empathy and understanding of people with dementia. Staff knew people well and helped them reflect on their past creatively'.

The team takes a fully personalised approach to enabling residents to live fulfilling lives. Residents have small jobs around the home or in the garden, there's a wide variety of regular activities and outings, and the team works very hard to make residents' wishes come true - even supporting them to have foreign holidays.

In 2017, Amberley Lodge was re-accredited with the Gold Standards Framework (GSF) in end of life care, achieving the highest, platinum, level. The GSF is a national accreditation that recognises the best in quality, personalised and dignified end of life care.
